This blog is specifically for in and around Brighton and Tunbridge Wellians.
With my producers hat on:- Calling anyone with a Welsh connection.
The Beacon Bar (www.the-beacon.co.uk) has very kindly given me their lower ground room and bar to create fringe theatre and kicking off this season is DIARY OF A WELSHCAKE a one hour comedy which won a ‘First Fringe’ at Edinburgh.
We are fortunate to have Gregory Ashton agree to perform – June 28th at 9.00pm. The Beacon has a fabulous dining area, so treat yourself to a pre-show meal. The perfect start to the weekend.
Tickets for the show are £10/£8 and to book please call 01892 524252.
The Inn also has Bed and Breakfast facilities, and fifteen acres of Happy Valley to walk through. So, those of you further afield, if you REALLY want to spoil yourselves there lies the perfect weekend.
Go on… you know you want to
Also at The Beacon the very popular Murder Mysteries, dine whilst you solve a murder. A cross between Inspector Morse and Carry On! Only 7 tickets left at the last count. July 19th 7.30pm for 8pm.
And on July 20th the same team are performing a Murder Mystery on the steam train, starting at 6.30pm from the Tunbridge Wells end of the line, and chugging all the way to Groombridge. Not many tickets left for this one. (www.spavalleyrailway.co.uk) Fish and chips thrown in!
Friday 26th and 27th – Brighton this time, a bit further afield, MY GAY BEST FRIEND is doing two late night shows (starting at 9.30) at The Emporium (www.emporiumbrighton.com)
Love,
Louise
