Thank you so much everyone for all your birthday wishes. I have had the best of all possible weekends and feel very blessed.

Yesterday ROBOTS OF DEATH and our proceeding panel with Tom Baker and Philip Hinchliffe at the BFI went down a storm. The fab Matt Evenden sorted me a birthday cake delivered on stage, consumed in the green room! Yum!

Then dinner with nearest and dearest in the true sense of the word (if you are ever on the Southbank in London I recommend the ARCHDUKE – live jazz and fabulous food)

And today my first born ran the marathon. Respect! Welcomed him over the finishing line with champagne and tears.

The sun shone.

Next Friday I open in GUTTED… possibly the most exciting theatrical experience of my 44 years in the biz… Stratford East, only runs for a month, get a seat if you can, and (as there’s no stage door) I shall always leave the building via the bar, so feel free to stop me and say hello.

Love, L x
